Guns & Hoses Charity Hockey Benefit Saturday 3/28 Come out and support your local Police and Fire hockey teams.All proceeds will go to the Last Call Foundation in support of Blue Hills regional teacher Katherine Sullivan, who is running this years Boston Marathon for the Last Call Foundation. Annual Charity Hockey Benefit
Canton Fire Local 1580 Annual Charity Hockey benefit is scheduled for 3/8. It starts at 7 and will have 2 games. 1st game will be randolph Fire/Pd vs Stoughton Fire/Pd. Charity Hockey Benefit raises $4700
Last weekend's Charity Hockey benefit was a great success and had a great turnout. Randolp Fire/PD beat Stoughton Fire/PD 6-1 and Boston PD beat Canton PD 4-3. On Friday, March 15 at 3:56 p.m., Local 2086 members responded to a second alarm structure fire at 2172 S. Trenton Way. Crews arrived on scene to find flames coming out of the third floor balcony of building 2 in the Covington on Cherry Creek Apartments. Members began a transitional attack by fighting fire from the outside.

 Protect your home and family with smoke alarms Have working smoke alarms on every level of your home, outside bedrooms, at the top of open stairs and at the base of cellar stairs. Maintain smoke alarms. Test them once a month. If the alarm uses regular batteries, change them at least once a year. An easy way to remember is to change the batteries when you change your clocks.
Members Fight Blaze on Kossuth

At 11:56 on March 2nd, 2019, Norwalk Fire Professional Firefighters responded to a house fire at 34 Kossuth st. On arrival the three-story, three-family home had fire showing on the second and third floor.  All 10 occupants managed to get out in time. There were no reported injuries, However the house was gutted and is posted unfit for occupancy.

Passing of Our Brother

Our Brother Cody Mooney passed away on 3/2/19. Cody fought a long hard battle with a brain tumor that unfortunately took his life. Cody was so much. He was a Firefighter, hunter, husband and a father. Cody has left behind his wife and 4 kids with another one on the way. We will miss you dearly Cody, rest easy Brother.
