Guns & Hoses Charity Hockey Benefit Saturday 3/28 Come out and support your local Police and Fire hockey teams.All proceeds will go to the Last Call Foundation in support of Blue Hills regional teacher Katherine Sullivan, who is running this years Boston Marathon for the Last Call Foundation. Charity Hockey Benefit raises $4700
Last weekend's Charity Hockey benefit was a great success and had a great turnout. Randolp Fire/PD beat Stoughton Fire/PD 6-1 and Boston PD beat Canton PD 4-3. LOCAL 1784 WINS ARBITRATION CASE

Bobby fell ill and was diagnosed with COVID-19. Brother Rocha fought valiantly against this virus and his fight was a testament to his strength as a person.

At 4:49 a.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2020, Local members responded to a collision involving a vehicle into a home at 837 W. Powers Ave. in Littleton. First arriving Littleton Police Officers reported a natural gas leak, evacuated the occupants and checked for injuries. When members arrived, they stood by with a charged hose line in case anything ignited and confirmed that no one was hurt.

At 8:09 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020, Local members responded to a fire alarm activation at Courtney Downs Apartments, located at 15859 E. Jamison Drive in Arapahoe County. While members were responding, 911 callers reported water flowing and smoke in the building. First arriving Engine 42 found smoke in and around the large 3-story building and pulled a hose line for fire attack.

Norwalk Fire Department Press Release November 20, 2020 The Norwalk Fire Department responded to a Garage fire at 43 Plattsville Avenue, at 5:20 pm Friday evening. The fire burned inside the rear wall of the single car garage and into its attic space, before it could be extinguished.

This session is an hour and a half long and will take place at 9am this Wednesday, November 18th.

At 1:44 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, Local members responded to a traffic collision involving a structure at the Chase Bank, located at 9350 S. Colorado Blvd. in Highlands Ranch. When Engine 17 arrived, they found a Jeep Grand Cherokee into a support column for the building with significant damage.

11/17/20 - South Metro Firefighters IAFF LOCAL 2086
At 8:40 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2020, Local members responded to an apartment fire at 1039 S. Parker Rd. in Arapahoe County. A vigilant neighbor heard smoke alarms sounding from a nearby apartment, saw smoke coming from the top of the door and dialed 911. First arriving members from Station 21 advanced a hose line through the complex and entered the burning apartment.

On Thursday November 12, 2020 at 8 a.m., Local members responded to a commercial structure fire at the Aces Motorcycle store off of W. Bowles Ave. in Littleton. When Engine 11 arrived on scene, members found heavy smoke inside the building, but could not find any active fire.

Norwalk Fire department Press Release Norwalk Fire responded to a MVA on I-95 involving three cars and a tractor trailer.at 2030 hours. Immediately followed at 2130 hours  by another car into the back of a tractor trailer with three youths in the car killing one. FD extricated all three passengers two with serious injuries and one fatality.

Norwalk Fire Department Press Release The Norwalk Fire department responded to a house fire at #2 Pheasant Ct. at 1545 hours. The fire started in the kitchen of the two story home, and extended through the vent ductwork into the attic. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and removed the smoke from the home.
